Siebel is generating offensive ROW_ID's in production

This is an original Siebel service request posted in Oracle support. It has been a laughing stock for many many years and now it has been archived on the Oracle support.

Customer found a row_id created in their production environment which got offensive words in the row_id such as, "1-190F**K". So, they would like to know whether Siebel have any internal validation to avoid offensive words in ROW_ID generation.
Siebel Tools, SPE - Version 7.5.3.5 [16183] to 8.0 [20405] [Release V7 to V8]  After consulting PM of this area on this issue we found the following comments,

"I checked with our engineers and they have confirmed that we do not have such a filter in our logic to avoid offensive words in row_ids.  The best approach is to use the RowIdToRowIdNum function to numeric values to eliminate this concern. You can read up FAQ 1446 on this function."

So, the following documents will be of great help to avoid this kind of issues:

1. How Is Row Id Generated and How Is It Used? (Doc ID 476256.1)
2. What Is the Calculation Logic Behind the Conversion Function RowIdToRowIdNum? (Doc ID 477625.1)

Please go and have a look at it for yourself in Oracle support, before Oracle takes it down.😅🤣😂
